New Funding for Prognostics Research
SRSL has received research funding from the State of Iowa Regents Innovation Fund (RIF) for the project titled “Predictive Modeling with Automated Analytics for Intelligent Prognostics”. This one-year project ($111K in total) will develop an intelligent prognostics platform for failure anticipation and predictive maintenance of rotating machinery.

The Lab has four papers accepted by ASME IDETC/CIE 2017 as oral presentations on the topics of battery management system (Yifei), data-driven prognostics (Dr. Li), high-dimensional reliability analysis (Mohammad), design for resilience (Dr. Hu). Yifei’s paper was nominated for the Best Paper Award. Congrats to these group members!
